Matthew Heerde is an experienced litigator who represents businesses and individuals across the country in a range of industries including talent management, entertainment, finance, and medical and psychotherapy practices.
Matthew counsels clients in New York and California regarding a broad range of employment matters, including executive and equity compensation, employment agreements, non-compete and non-solicit, discrimination and harassment, as well as pay disputes, and wage and hour litigation. Matthew’s clients include large employers, start-up employers, as well as individual employees.
Matthew began his practice representing public interest groups and government agencies in land use and environmental litigation and administrative proceedings in southern California. Matthew transitioned his practice to representing entrepreneurs and businesses to focus on his role as closely trusted counselor and advocate. Matthew is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and Dartmouth College, and is a native of New Rochelle, New York.
